This was a big day for me for two reasons:
- I started grad school. This was the first day of the online accelerated MBA program at UT Pan American – nearly 20 years after graduating from UT Austin. Not sure if I’ll like it yet. So far I’ve introduced myself to my classmates on the Accounting class and Marketing class discussion boards and read part of a chapter in the accounting book. I’ve ordered hard copies of both books and am using an e-book for the accounting class right now. If all goes well, I should finish up in December of this year.
- I started running. Over the past few years, I’ve started and stopped a number of times, but hopefully this time it will stick. I have a free pass for the Boston Marathon April 21st, so if I’m going to do it I need to start training. I also need to send in the registration form – it may already be too late.
