Blank Canvas / Clean Slate

We’ve heard this expression a million times. When you have a blank canvas or a clean slate, then you can create anything you want. Clean slate, like a clean blackboard, is probably the better analogy. It won’t ever be completely clean, but you can free up space (time) to do new things. In order to have that clean slate, though, you have to get rid of some of the current clutter – the actual physical clutter in your life but also the mental clutter that you have to think about every day and the to-do items that are cluttering up your calendar.
