Two Pairs of Pants

A few years ago, my wife and I took our niece and nephew to a Christmas event at a Dallas-area hotel. There was a fountain there, so I gave them each a penny and told them to make a wish. When I asked our niece what she wished for, she said “two pairs of pants for my Dad.” We got a kick out of that. It was a strangely specific wish, but apparently she knew something we didn’t. When you take inventory, you’ll notice things that you need, so acquiring those items should go on your to-do list. I thought of this story because as I was taking inventory, I noticed I was low on jeans. I need to take one pair in to get the zipper fixed, and I could really use a couple more pairs. Getting those will make the problem of never having enough pants to wear go away.
