Think about all of the “seasons” there are. Yes, summer, fall, winter, and spring. But also the holiday season, tax season, hunting season, etc. Certain things happen at certain times of the year. They help shape time for us.
Is time linear or circular? Most would say linear, right? It’s not like we can return to previous times. 100 years ago is a lot further away than 1 year ago. But it’s also circular since our days, weeks, and years are based on trips around the sun and around the solar system. Birthdays and holidays happen at the same time each year.
