Schedule time for exercise

If you don’t, you’re unlikely to find the time. But even when it is scheduled, it’s difficult to do. Why? Because it hurts. It takes effort. It may require you to get up early and get out in the elements and feel bad for a while all in order to feel better later.

Here’s a tip from an AARP article: sleep in your running clothes.

Do you need motivation? Try making a deal with yourself: if you’ll just walk for five minutes, you can stop. But you have to do something. Once you’ve started, you’re likely to keep going.
