People are People

“People are people so why should it be that you and I should get along so awfully?” -Depeche Mode

What divides us we’re on this earth for such a short amount of time we don’t have time for a two instead of focusing on our differences focus on what similar or be happy for our differences the world is a diverse place and it’s richer because of all of the rioting

Time is of the essence maybe mention global warming and that countdown clock

Politics and Religion: Preaching to the choir and arguing with a brick wall. Both are wastes of time. Is it even worth having a political discussion these days?

“Now the world don’t move to the beat of just one drum. What might be right for you may not be right for some.”

It’s a small world after all

Some people seem opposed to helping others get by out of some sense of fairness, claiming that they need to earn their keep, quit being free riders. But I like this quote:

“We must do away with the absolutely specious notion that everybody has to earn a living. It is a fact today that one in ten thousand of us can make a technological breakthrough capable of supporting all the rest. The youth of today are absolutely right in recognizing this nonsense of earning a living. We keep inventing jobs because of this false idea that everybody has to be employed at some kind of drudgery because, according to Malthusian-Darwinian theory, he must justify his right to exist. So we have inspectors of inspectors and people making instruments for inspectors to inspect inspectors. The true business of people should be to go back to school and think about whatever it was they were thinking about before somebody came along and told them they had to earn a living.” -Buckminster Fuller (1895-1983).

Be nice to people

Take the time to write positive reviews. They mean more than you may think. And if you’ve been meaning to do that, a mental weight will be lifted.

Show your appreciation. Tip well. Do what you can to make someone’s day.
